Feds Feed Families Gleaning Project (Produce Picking)

  • 27 Aug 2015

  • 10200 Piscataway Road; Clinton, MD 20735
We need your help! On, Thursday, August 27, 2015 the Coast Guard will be at Miller's Farm in Clinton, MD to glean. Gleaning is where you pick fresh produce from the field and once completed it is delivered to the local food banks. Last year HQ gleaned over 25,000 pounds of food. I have no doubt in my mind that we can do it again with your leadership and help. Here at Headquarters we set the bar high but we "Always Deliver".

I need you to spread the word about gleaning and have your fellow teammates sign up. The good thing about gleaning is it will help you reach your Directorate goal much faster but the trick is in the numbers. Which Directorate will be the "Top Gleaners" for HQ?

Please email Robin Dorsey at robin.t.dorsey@uscg.mil all names of your team members who would like to participate.
