Greetings from Community Affairs!

September is here and school is back in session.  This month we have LOTS of interesting and exciting volunteer opportunities to choose from.  Collectively we volunteered over 1100 hours in August and our work is greatly appreciated by Coast Guard Leadership and the communities we serve.

As we are in the midst of transfer season, PLEASE share this list with your co-workers, friends and family members.  Let people know they can contact LCDR Schafler to get on the list as well at jonathan.i.schafler@uscg.mil.

Keep in mind that we are in the middle of Feds Feeds Families as well and the boxes located throughout the building are for your non-perishable food stuffs that we are bringing to four food pantries RIGHT HERE IN WARD 8!

Help us help others and VOLUNTEER!!!
