The NCR Coast Guard Officer's Association (CGOA) will be hosting its fourth semi-annual golf tournament at Fort Belvoir on 21 October 2015 followed by happy hour and an awards ceremony at Fair Winds Brewery.
All Officers, Enlisted personnel, Civilian personnel, and guests are invited to participate.
Registration ends 14 October 2015 AT NOON and can be done via the NCR CGOA website.

If you sign up for this event, it is imperative that you show up. In advance of the tournament, the NCR CGOA is required to submit a roster of candidates for final payment calculation. Failure to appear will result in the NCR CGOA incurring additional charges. If exigent circumstances require your absence, please contact the POCs listed above.
Here are some very important details regarding the upcoming event:
DATE: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2015
PLACE: Woodlawn Golf Course at the Fort Belvoir Golf Club (see directions and contact info below).
TIME: 0900-0930: Registration - Payment is required to complete registration. Preferred method of payment is via pre-registration on the NCRCGOA.org website or by cash or check made out to "NCR CGOA." A registration table will be set-up and will be obvious.
There will be games and prizes prior to Tee Off, to include a putting contest!
1000: Tee Off (Scramble)
1400: Happy hour and awards ceremony at Fair Winds Brewery (see directions and contact info below).
COST: NCR CGOA Members: $65 - includes cart and lunch.
Non-members: $80 - includes cart and lunch.
WEATHER: RAIN or SHINE (event will only be postponed if the Woodlawn Course at the Fort Belvoir Golf Club is closed due to inclement weather - this is not likely). Check our website on the day of the event for any changes.
TYPE: The Tournament format is a 3 to 4-person scramble with a shotgun start at 1000. Members without a team will be randomly assigned the day of the event.
ATTIRE: Appropriate golf attire.
LEAVE/EXCUSED ABSENCE POLICY: Tournament day is a Coast Guard work day. Coast Guard participants must be on leave that day, on RDO or otherwise on an excused absence in accordance with regulations.
PRIZES: Prizes will be given out to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
MULLIGANS: Increase your chances of winning the tournament by purchasing "mulligans" during registration. Mulligans can be purchased in the following increments: One mulligan - $10. Three mulligans -$20. Mulligans for guests can be purchased at the registration table for the tournament. Proceeds will be used to support future NCR CGOA functions.

Exit Fort Belvoir out of Kingman Gate. Turn right onto VA-286/Fairfax County Parkway. Continue about 2 miles and turn right onto Loisdale Road. Go 0.1 miles and make another right at Newington Road. Fair Winds will be 0.1 miles up the road on the left immediately passed a one lane tunnel (approach the one lane tunnel with caution and yield to oncoming traffic as may be necessary).
