The NCR CGOA is soliciting for new board members to fill the following
Positions:

Treasurer
Secretary
We greatly appreciate the service that CDR Brian McSorley, LCDR Jen Osburn and LCDR Than Williams have provided to the CGOA! We wish them well as they take on new and challenging assignments. I'd particularly like to recognize Than for his prolonged service as a plank-owning board member of the association!
The NCR CGOA is comprised of over two-hundred officers (active, reserve, retired) working in the NCR. Our mission is to provide Fellowship among the officer corps through our active involvement in Leadership and Service projects in the community. In the past year, the NCR CGOA sponsored golf tournaments brought together over 160 golfers; our speaker series connected active duty officers with thought leaders and retirees who manage businesses within the community; we've donated nearly a thousand dollars and hundreds of hours of volunteering to honor our service and support the local community.
The board members meet regularly to plan, organize and execute activities which further our mission and goals.
The board is open to members of all ranks. I strongly encourage junior members to apply for these leadership positions, as it is a great way to meet other officers and demonstrate your leadership and professionalism outside your direct work.
We have an open solicitation for volunteers during the month of February and will be confirming selections at our annual Spring meeting.
